Batangas Free Font

Batangas Typeface was inspired by the strong characteristic of Batangueños that is evident in their culture, traditions and iconic symbols. A prominent feature that was used for conceptualising the typeface is the "balisong"—the butterfly knife which is mainly produced in Taal, Batangas. Batangas is a first class province of the Philippines located on the southwestern part of Luzon in the CALABARZON region. It is best known for its century old churches, a volcano within a lake, pristine beaches, world class diving spots, a strong accent, and the balisong.
