HK Venetian is a typeface revival of a "lost gem" — Venetian by Morris Fuller Benton. I tried to be as close as possible to the original by tracing and making the forms more geometric (like the corner brackets and the serifs). I used FontForge as my main tool and finishing up with Glyphs.
HK Venetian will be released under the SIL OFL license with all sources included to further the research, improvement and involvement of designers/developers in reviving typefaces with great potential.
